Tips - Top 10 Tips And Tricks For Your New iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch

2. Turn on Find My iPhone (or Find My iPad or Find My iPod) on your iOS device:
One of the first things you should when you buy an iOS device is turn on the free Find My iPhone (or
Find My iPad or Find My iPod) service so you can track your missing iOS device from another device. Here are some simple steps to turn it on:
  • Launch the Settings app from your iOS device's home screen, and then tap iCloud.
  • If you are asked to sign in with your Apple ID, then you haven’t set up iCloud on this device. Setup iCloud by following these instructions.
  • When you tap on iCloud in the Settings app, you will see Find My iPhone (or Find My iPad or Find My iPod) at the bottom of the screen, tap to it, and when asked to confirm you want this option, tap Allow.
